Supporting Volvo UK’s best-ever performance for a Selekt car event

 

Volvo Car UK engaged with Strive Group to assist in running a national showroom event for Volvo Selekt, their approved used programme, which adhered to social distancing guidelines amid a global pandemic.  Strive designed a dedicated booking portal that could be used for both national marketing as well as local marketing by each individual retailer. The project covered 100 retailers who each had an individual diary system tailored to their opening hours and available sales executives.

Customer Communication & Retailer Support

Every customer who booked on to the event received an email confirmation with Covid-19 showroom guidelines, a 24hr reminder, and the ability to amend or cancel their booking should they wish. Each retailer had full visibility of their own bookings through a dedicated diary system and received a booking confirmation for every customer.

Strive complemented the booking system by providing an outreach call activity for the retailer network, having designed a call flow that supported the climate and customer concerns around social distancing.

Record-Breaking Success for Volvo Selekt Event with Strive Group's Support

This Volvo Selekt used car event, supported by Strive Group’s dedicated booking portal and outreach call activity, resulted in the most successful Selekt Event measured through sales volume for Volvo Car UK. The event received over 1200 bookings before the event started, and over 1100 sales recorded during the event weekend, resulting in the UK’s best-ever performance for a Selekt used car event.
