From Creating a High-Impact Celebration Video to Sleek Product Images
Lotus Cars is an iconic British automotive company, world-renowned for designing and manufacturing high-performance sports cars that embody agility, speed and cutting-edge engineering. In 2023, Lotus celebrated its most successful year in the last decade and with this the UK and Ireland director saw an opportunity to keep motivation high ready for 2024.
As Lotus looked back on a record-breaking year, they aimed to celebrate these achievements by looking to keep motivation and engagement high going into the new year. The goal was to produce a high-impact video that captured the company’s year in review, showcasing key milestones and successes that contributed to their most successful year in a decade, and this was to be shown at the Lotus 2023 Christmas party. The main challenge of this was the incredibly tight deadline of 24 hours. With pre-existing, curated content at their disposal, Lotus needed a creative partner that could transform this material into a cohesive, engaging story under intense time constraints.
To meet Lotus’s urgent need, our Brand Experience team quickly got to work. Our content producer worked intensively to identify, select, and arrange the pre-curated footage into a compelling narrative. Within 24 hours, our team were able to meticulously sift through the existing material to highlight Lotus's key achievements of the past year.
Once this was complete our editor could craft a cohesive and inspiring video that not only reflected the successes but also aligned with Lotus’s brand values. This lead to delivering a polished, visually engaging video. Ensuring that every frame told the story of Lotus’s remarkable year of progress and growth.
Off the back of this work, we were then tasked with adapting the Christmas highlights video in preparation for a team meeting early in 2024, this was to include some more information and slightly change the tone. Additionally, We attended the team meeting and captured content across the day. We were delivered a set of images to the Lotus UK and Ireland Director for his social media as well as a highlights video to showcase the day.
Due to the success of the highlights video at the end of 2023, Lotus were keen to do the same again for 2024. We worked together with less of a time restriction and looked to improve the already successful template created from the year before.
After a successful interaction with acting as Lotus’s creative partner in a time of need. We were able to continue developing the relationship and keep helping out where possible, in this case with the highlights video adaption and then shooting content at the team meeting and even further, having recently completed a photo shoot for the Lotus Emeya outside the prestigious Grantley Hall. We were able to spend time with the vehicle to get a library of images that could then be used on the Lotus Instagram and Threads social channels.
Lotus expressed their satisfaction with both the quality of the video and the speed with which Strive Group delivered, reinforcing their trust in us as a reliable and creative partner.
