Driving awareness and leads for a local Lotus retailer through impactful marketing
Lotus Cars is an iconic British brand, known globally for creating high-performance sports cars that showcase agility, speed, and advanced engineering. Lotus UK tasked us with delivering a bold and engaging city centre activation to showcase the new Lotus Eletre, their fully electric hyper-SUV. The objective was to build excitement around the product, attract potential customers, and generate leads for a nearby retail partner. The display needed to strike a balance between sleek, high-end appeal and public accessibility.
We secured a prominent, high-footfall site in Leeds City Centre, offering excellent visibility to both commuters and weekend visitors. The positioning allowed the Lotus Eletre to stand out in a busy urban environment and encouraged organic social sharing and public interest.
Our team worked closely with the PR garage to ensure smooth vehicle preparation and precise delivery. Specialist transporters were used to deliver the Lotus Eletre safely and efficiently, ensuring it arrived in pristine, showroom-ready condition. We liaised directly with city centre organisers to manage space usage approvals, implement health and safety protocols, and ensure full compliance with local authority regulations.
We developed a bespoke lead tracking process using digital forms accessible via QR codes placed discreetly around the display. This allowed for quick and seamless opt-ins while preserving the premium aesthetic. Captured leads were directed to the local retailer for timely follow-up.
A team of trained Lotus brand ambassadors were present throughout the activation to engage with the public, answer questions, and highlight the vehicle’s key features. Their product knowledge and polished presentation helped reinforce the prestige of the Lotus brand.
The event lead to 1,200+ meaningful engagements across the two days, boosting the brand and product awareness. Lotus saw an increase of 100+ qualifed leads captured via the lead tracking system implemented, further driving more interest to the brand. Finally, there was a noticable uplift in test drive bookings for the local retailer in the two weeks following the event activation.
This campaign successfully positioned the Lotus Eletre as a head-turning, aspirational EV in a key urban market.
