Utilising ICE technology to assist in a 57% pre-let during lockdown

Commissioned by Heitman, the fund which built Baltic Yard in Liverpool, a 200-strong build to rent development in the heart of Baltic Yard in Liverpool with landscaped garden terraces, gym and residents’ lounge.

The client needed a mechanism to market the apartments ahead of practical completion. Heitman were forward thinking and wanted to do something different to the standard process of 3D visuals and walkthrough videos.

Strive developed an interactive customer experience environment allowing prospective tenants to walk around the space in their own time, viewing various areas of the development in photo-realism connecting the potential tenant to the environment before physically stepping foot in the scheme. This allowed the customer to ‘experience’ the space better along with all the amenities provided. Utilising this software proved hugely successful helping Heitman achieve a 57% pre-let during a lockdown. The software also facilitated an abundance of static 3D visuals and a video which aided in the marketing of the development. This led to Heitman commissioning Strive on their next development.
