Strive Events is seeking an experienced Events Executive to join our team and provide exceptional service to our client. Days / Hours of Work:  Full time (37.5 hours a week) predominantly between the hours of Monday – Friday 9.00 – 5.00pm.  Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and irregular hours as required by event schedules. 

Salary: £25,000 per annum   

Location: Strive Group Head Office, Harrogate 

About the job:

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable events or project co-ordination/ management experience, a proactive, solution-focussed attitude and a high service ethic.  A Strive Events Executive works closely with the Events Manager to co-ordinate various events, liaise with event agencies, oversee transportation logistics and provide on-site support as needed.    

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Events Manager in all aspects of event coordination, including logistics, vendor management, budget tracking, and client communications. 

  • Coordinate with event agencies and suppliers. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services according to client specifications. 

  • Events administration including maintaining event databases, preparing documents, analysing event feedback and generating reports for internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Coordinate transportation logistics for events, including arranging vehicle and tech support, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring timely arrival and departure of vehicles. 

  • Contribute to the planning and organisation of events, from initial concept development through to post-event evaluation, ensuring all aspects align with client expectations, objectives and brand standards. 

  • Provide on-site support during events as required, including setting up event spaces, managing registration and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. 


What We Need From You:

  • Your experience. Previous experience in event coordination or related fields, with a focus on client management is essential  

  • Organisation. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively  

  • Communication. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members  

  • Flexibility. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment 

  • Conscientious. A natural flair for delivering excellence and holding yourself to high standards  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms), a familiarity with event management software is advantageous.
