Strive Events is seeking an experienced Events Executive to join our team and provide exceptional service to our client. In this role you will work closely with the Events Manager to ensure that we deliver extraordinary experiences reflective of our client’s brand and values. Days / Hours of Work: Full time (37.5 hours a week) predominantly between the hours of Monday – Friday 9.00 – 5.00pm. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and irregular hours as required by event schedules.
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Location: Strive Group Head Office, Harrogate
About the job:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable events or project co-ordination/ management experience, a proactive, solution-focussed attitude and a high service ethic. A Strive Events Executive works closely with the Events Manager to co-ordinate various events, liaise with event agencies, oversee transportation logistics and provide on-site support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Events Manager in all aspects of event coordination, including logistics, vendor management, budget tracking, and client communications.
Coordinate with event agencies and suppliers. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services according to client specifications.
Events administration including maintaining event databases, preparing documents, analysing event feedback and generating reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate transportation logistics for events, including arranging vehicle and tech support, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring timely arrival and departure of vehicles.
Contribute to the planning and organisation of events, from initial concept development through to post-event evaluation, ensuring all aspects align with client expectations, objectives and brand standards.
Provide on-site support during events as required, including setting up event spaces, managing registration and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
What We Need From You:
Your experience. Previous experience in event coordination or related fields, with a focus on client management is essential
Organisation. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Communication. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members
Flexibility. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced environment
Conscientious. A natural flair for delivering excellence and holding yourself to high standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms), a familiarity with event management software is advantageous.
