Our client was a division of an international private health insurance provider giving direct access to medical providers, at home or wherever in the world customers choose to be treated.
The company were growing faster than the building could facilitate and were facing an influx of staff from recently closed locations. The main objectives for the project were to create a new agile office that could facilitate the projected growth in headcount, providing additional working environments to suit the needs of an evolving workforce, as well as refreshing existing facilities throughout the building.
what we did
Following a strategic analysis of the existing workforce and operations, Strive developed an agile working environment that provided additional collaborative spaces, private 1-2-1 meeting spaces and individual focus pods.
Major refurbishment to the upper floors provided a new boardroom suite, executive business lounge and open plan office areas. Existing facilities including tea-points and breakout spaces were refreshed and modernised to significantly improve staff welfare facilities, and provide a working environment that meets the needs of an agile workforce.
The project has resulted in a significant increase in staff well-being, engagement and collaboration. The agile working environment allows the company to operate the building at a much higher capacity than previously achievable and has created flex space for them to continue to grow in the future.
The schemes for the tea-point and break out areas now provide spaces that are suitably different to the working areas which allows staff to truly break out and relax.
The business lounge provides a much needed touch-down, collaboration and breakout space for visitors and an increasingly mobile workforce.
